Over a period of three days, the lives of nine people intersect in a hotel in Copenhagen. A hotel manager stares into the emptiness of his own life, with dire consequences for himself, his wife and his mistress. A Spanish flight attendant seeks intimacy and finds it in an unexpected way. A secretive receptionist is forced to come out of his shell by a shocking event. And an Albanian refugee gets the chance to avenge his wife but discovers something surprising about himself. At the same time, two Filipino chambermaids walk through the corridors almost unnoticed. The action starts with a pistol shot and as the pistol moves from hand to hand, each story offers elements for a different story. Characters meet in secret, their secrets are revealed and their lives become entangled in a dramatic story of love and desire…
