Sam moves to Chicago to attend art school. He can barely pay his bills and engages in sex in exchange for money. Aaron - his friend who lives far away from him - can no longer live without Sam and moves in with him. He is determined to look for work so Sam can stop offering himself. The two decide to get married and want to move to a state where this is allowed.
