Kid-Thing plot
10-year-old Annie has no friends her age and her daily routine is filled with lonely mischief; she rides around on her motocross bike, throwing dough at passing cars and destroying things with her baseball bat. Her father, a farmer and scrap car racer, does little about her upbringing. One day she is playing in the woods and hears the cry for help from a woman who has fallen into a well. Annie visits them every day, but isn't sure what to do with the situation.
