Die Vierte Macht plot
Paul Jensen, a sewer journalist, flees Berlin and starts working for a Moscow tabloid edited by his mentor Alexei Onegin. He soon manages to increase the success and circulation of the newspaper. His life is one big party until he meets the beautiful activist Katja and falls in love with her. She convinces him to publish a politically tinted obituary in the newspaper. From that moment on, Paul's life will change drastically. He is arrested on suspicion of terrorism. When he is released with the help of Onegin, he is confronted with other secrets from his life and must solve the political conspiracy against him.
