Second film by actor Josh Radnor as director, and this time also very pleasant. The subtle romance unfolds in a pleasant way and the characters are soon interesting and sympathetic. The university world in which the film is set is also credibly portrayed. Here and there perhaps a few scenes that are too thick (such as the crazy cameo of Zac Efron) and towards the end the stretch is a bit out of it, but otherwise entertaining enough. Again a strong supporting role by Richard Jenkins. What a good actor he is.

Good movie in which a man visits his old school and falls for a student. The movie starts off a bit slow and has perhaps too many side plots, but this is compensated by the good dialogues and well-developed characters. A fine cast with an excellent and delightful Elizabeth Olsen. The scene in which the main character compares the two ages on paper is hilarious.

Mediocre film about an annoying former student who returns to campus at a later age and romanticizes and glorifies college life. As noted here before, Radnor often plays these kinds of roles and he himself seems to be a pretentious romantic. All that drivel about writers, composers and the city of New York as a kind of organism really started to get on my nerves at some point.
