Lucas and Gustav must decide whether to stay in Italy or, as many of their friends have already done, move abroad. Together they embark on an emotional journey through Italy in their old Fiat 500 to look beyond the clichés and discover what remains of the famous Italian way of life. Along the way, they are confronted with a glorious past, a shaky present and an uncertain future.
