Het Meisje en de Dood plot
The story of the old Russian doctor Nicolai (Sergey Makovetskyi) who returns in the 1950s to the place where he met his great love Elise (Sylvia Hoeks) 50 years earlier. In the old hotel annex brothel he relives his love story. The dramatic events run parallel to the four seasons and end in a surprising denouement in which the past and present merge.
