Dictado plot

"Don't be scared, she's just a little girl"

Daniel receives an unexpected visit from a childhood friend. The boyfriend is obsessed with his own daughter and insists that Daniel meet her. Daniel sends him away and tries to forget the incident. That night the friend commits suicide. Laura, Daniel's wife, insists that they go to his funeral. There they meet the daughter, a girl barely seven years old. She has been living with a foster family since her father's death. Laura thinks it's best for the girl to come live with them.
