La Fin du Silence plot

The Klein family lives in a remote house in the mountains. The youngest son Jean is seen as the black sheep and thrown out of the house. Angry and threatened, he goes to Nils and Ida's chalet for a hunting expedition. Within a day he learns how to kill. The next night, his mother's car is set on fire, which Jean is accused of and he flees into the mountains with a gun. The next day, a great storm arose, imprisoning the Klein family in their home, where they anxiously await Jean's return.
