Sometimes a bit bland, especially Nierop does not always feel that strong in his shoes. Kesting is also not always good at Uncle Henk. But all in all, this is certainly not a bad crime comedy. Nowhere is the film too ambitious and that is perhaps the best thing about this film. I simply had a great time until the very end! Or, yes, to the end? I liked the ending the least of the story. All in all very funny and successful.

Not a very brilliant comedy this. Slightly better than the average Dutch film, but Van Strien's set-up is just a bit too simple. I didn't think much talent went into this, especially at the directing level, because the acting was nice.

The story itself isn't very special either. Not a very well thought out scenario anyway. A fairly predictable story with a predictable course and little material to make it a bit more interesting somehow.

Kesting is the biggest bright spot in the film. Finally an actor who really wants to be completely absorbed in his role. The rest was also quite ok, less woodsy than the general film, but not top-notch performance, but Kesting comes close.

The humor is sometimes nice, but sometimes there are a number of daring moments and in the second part it is all a bit lighter and smoother with which the humor shines through a bit better. In the first part, the jokes are repeated a little too often.

Otherwise not a very exciting story. It is entertaining, but also has a number of parts where it gets a bit more boring. Visually it is not much, with some more interesting camera use this could have come to a good end, for example.

Shortly after law student Koen [Tobias Nierop] managed to save himself and girlfriend Sophie [Sallie Harmsen] from a precarious situation by pretending to be the nephew of the dreaded criminal Henk de Koning [Hans Kesting], Uncle Henk came “for a while.” have a cup of coffee." Henk needs a resourceful person like Koen to find out the location of an unseen loot of 12 million Euros. To do this, Koen has to sign up as a volunteer in the nursing home where Henk's former partner Sjon [Bert Luppes] pretends to be seriously demented. The operation gets more complicated when a corrupt detective [Hajo Bruins] and a banker [Theo Pont] also approach Koen with the same request! Well-written crime comedy with a starring role for Kesting and excellent work by Luppes, but the whole thing is almost ruined by the miscast Nierop, whose acting style and comedic timing are hopeless.
