The story of Lewis Shaler (Dougray Scott), an overworked doctor and devoted single father on his way home with his son on the last train from London, where he meets a flirtatious stranger. Life finally seems to have real meaning for Lewis. But then disaster strikes. The driver suddenly seems to have disappeared and the brakes have been sabotaged. A vengeful sociopath has taken control of the train and is determined to crash it and take all the passengers to the grave...
