Bermuda-Dreieck Nordsee plot
The energy company Global Senergy plans to use the North Sea area near the island of Nordersand for CO2 storage. The company's ambitious PR advisor, Marie Niklas (Bettina Zimmermann), has to organize an event for this on a platform in the North Sea. It's up to helicopter pilot and nature lover Tom Jaeger (Hannes Jaenicke) to bring her here. However, Tom's ex-wife Hannah (Karoline Eichhorn) is convinced that there is a dangerous paranormal hole in the North Sea into which entire ships can disappear, but Tom never believed this. When hundreds of dead seagulls wash up on the beach and Tom's daughter Sara (Josephine Preuß) disappears without a trace, there appears to be a grain of truth in Hannah's theory. Tom and Marie put their differences aside and try to solve the mystery together.
