With this genre, the combination of horror/comedy, you always hope for a fun, frivolous and bizarre creativity

to come across. But none of this. No nice angles, the humor extremely bland, bad acting, and visually it is also poverty stricken. In this way, there is little left. And you are

to watch an extremely boring movie.

The directorial debut of director Danielle Harris contains a number of strong scenes towards the end, but ultimately collapses in the cheap format of the film. Among Friends relies on the cast members, among whom AJ Bowen does particularly well. In principle, this film is not much more than a long drawn-out game. Nicely conceived, but very limitedly developed. All logic is absolutely irrelevant, which means that as a viewer you are never convinced that the main characters are in real danger. Once the run-up is over, things escalate very quickly, which means that there is actually no question of any tension. Fortunately, the finale is a solid conclusion and the hallucination (with cameos by Michael Biehn and Xavier Gens) is absolutely worth it.
