Best of the 3 ! / * 5 STARS * / photo on the cover is a bit misleading..,

part 1: 4 **** original and quite (very) coarse…

(my partner went over her neck.., I wanted to move on to part 2)

part 2: 5 ***** Are you a fan of the gerne; then this is the "must-see" (best of the 3) RECOMMENDED

part 3: 3 *** 'more' is not necessarily 'better' ; well played, centipede is very disappointing!

Tom Six took advice from a medical expert to ensure that the surgery central to The Human Centipede: First Sequence would be theoretically feasible. In his own words, he was often asked at film festivals whether he had not opened the door to copycats. That gave Six the idea for this gruesome, macabre and very violent sequel. Laurence R. Harvey plays one of the most repulsive characters in cinema history: Martin, the night guard of a little-used parking garage with major psychological problems arising from his relationship with his parents. He finds the only prospect of his hopeless existence in the DVD of The Human Centipede: First Sequence, which he has studied in detail. He decides to fulfill his dream: he rents a dilapidated building, kidnaps people visiting his parking garage, and decides to outdo Dr Heiter by attempting to use not three, but twelve people to create his own human centipede. Lacking Rohypnol, Narcosis and surgical tools, Martin uses a crowbar, duct tape and a staple gun. Even the most seasoned horror fan (and I include myself) will surely have to turn his head a few times at the most horrific moments and Harvey achieves the impossible by giving his depraved, utterly repulsive character a certain humanity. I loved it, but there are at least that many people who can't watch this after a few minutes. Can certainly lay claim to the title of 'the most horrific movie of all time'.

Completely crazy horror film that surpasses part 1 in every way. It may sound a bit crazy, but as Dutch people we can be proud that we have a filmmaker like Tom Six.

Where in the first part you still watched a slick movie, in this second part you almost seem to be in the fever dream of a psychopath.

We follow a mentally limited, rancid, sweaty, maniacal fat ass (brilliant role by Laurence R Harvey, check more pulp from this man soon) with an obsession for the movie The Human Centipede. After jerking off with sandpaper on the footage of the film and kidnapping a dozen people, it's time to imitate that film.

The first part of the film (in which he largely prepares for his plan) is not so much shocking, but nevertheless feels quite disgusting; a combination of camera work, character decoration, set dressing, atmosphere creation, etc. Just very well done (by the way, quite comparable to what Six did in I Love Dries, which at times was also very rancid in terms of atmosphere).

Once in the abandoned warehouse where the plan will go into effect, all brakes are released. Tapping out those teeth with that hammer and cutting those cruciate tires.... Damn..

That shit stuff (which many fall for) I find the least shocking. A bit clownish even. But this is followed by a truly insane birthing scene.

Six has really gone wild. I regret that I only decided to watch this gem now (11 years after release). Also looking for part 3.
