Duch, le Maître des Forges de l'Enfer plot

Kaing Guek Eav, nicknamed 'Comrade Duch', was the director of the S-21 prison in Phnom Penh during the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia. Duch is partly responsible for the deaths of nearly two million people. In 2009, Duch became the first Khmer Rouge leader to appear before an international court. This documentary shows Duch's motivations, his belief in the Khmer Rouge ideology. Director Rithy Pan records Duch's words in a conversation. At the same time, Duch's stories are accompanied by archive footage and eyewitness accounts.
