Guerra Civil plot
The story takes place in the summer of 1982 on a southern beach. Rui and his parents live in their own isolated world, unaware of their failure as a family. Rui is about to take his final exam but all he cares about is music and defining the unknown through drawings and sketches. Only Joana manages to get him out of his autism. He finds her perseverance fascinating.
