A bank employee retrained as a financial analyst sells high-risk securities to meet her sales targets. A petty thief hopes to make some quick money to help a friend who has run into trouble with the law. A righteous police inspector who is completely satisfied with his average income is suddenly forced to get some money quickly because his wife has put a down payment on a luxury apartment that she really can't afford. The lives of these three ordinary people come together when a man who makes loans at high interest rates is robbed of $10 million.
