"Earth's greatest secrets are about to break out!"
Baab is the planet where acclaimed astronaut Scorch Supernova (Brendan Fraser) is a national hero to the blue alien inhabitants. He is a master of daring rescues, assisted by his little nerd brother Gary (Rob Corddry), head of mission control at BASA. When their boss Lena (Jessica Alba) announces that an SOS has been received from a very dangerous planet, Scorch ignores all advice and embarks on another dangerous mission. But then he's ambushed by the villainous Shanker (William Shatner) and the fate of the real rescue lies in the hands of little cautious Gary. The interests of the universe are at stake when Gary must save his brother, wife and son.
