Hamilton: I Nationens Intresse plot
Masked soldiers attack a vehicle loaded with advanced missiles during a smuggling operation in Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, a Swedish engineer is kidnapped in Ethiopia. Hamilton is tasked with investigating the kidnapping and soon discovers an international arms scandal at the top of the government, as well as plans for a terrorist attack on Swedish soil. His loyalty is tested, but the nation comes first.

The Swedish answer to James Bond and Jason Bourne, but with a considerably lower budget and a bit more limited in scope. Nevertheless, quite nice, with Mikael Persbrandt on a roll in the mysterious and stoic leading role. The action scenes fall (duh) a bit short here and there and in terms of logic there is something to be said about the script, but the film is visually neatly put together and the pace is pleasant. Here and there it also gets quite exciting.
