The Holcroft Covenant plot
New York architect Noel Holcroft receives a cryptic message and ends up in a web of murder and mystery. Noel learns that his father was serving for Hitler during World War II. His father left him a fortune as a kind of reparation and Holcroft roams the world in search of fortune. However, he ends up in the world of espionage, where nothing and nobody is what it seems.

Mediocre work that is loosely based on Ludlum's thick pulp book.
The biggest problem is that the story is so simplified and told on a comic strip level that not much remains of the original thriller, which was cleverly conceived in itself.
Especially since the most exciting plot part about the Tinamou has also been omitted.
Caine is good in itself and so is Andrews, but otherwise there is not much positive to say about this failed project.
A four or two stars.

A thriller with little tension and also quite a blurry story, because who can you trust in this print. Nothing is what it is, Michael Caine plays the leading role, but his presence cannot save the whole thing unfortunately.

Reasonable film in which a man is told that he can decide what happens to a huge amount of money. Quite an original premise that results in an entertaining thriller. The characters are not equally credible. Beautiful locations all over the world. A small 3.0 stars.
