Pas Op voor de Leerplichtambtenaar! plot

Amsterdam-Slotervaart is one of the best-known and most notorious immigrant neighborhoods in the Netherlands. A neighborhood with an alarmingly high number of young people dropping out of school; Redouan (15) calls his mother a whore and demands that she wear a headscarf like the mothers of his friends. He hasn't come to class for a long time, but spends days in front of his computer and visits Islamic sites, his friends say. The school has reported his absence, fearing that he is radicalising. Abdel Betti (39), former police officer, born and raised in Slotervaart and since four years a compulsory education officer at the City District, is going to investigate.
