I personally hate films where the camera is constantly being talked about. With this film, however, it was done in a certain way so that it didn't bother me that much.

You often see films with the role of parents as the theme. What I did find distinctive about this film was the balance that parents have to find between career and parenthood. You also don't see a happy ending in which the mother realizes what she has missed and immediately throws her entire career to the wind to become a stay-at-home mom. No, a balance is really being sought. I could appreciate that.

Still, in general, it all remained pretty well-behaved and on the plain. In fact, it all just flowed on a bit. But hey, he looks pretty good.

Actually, this movie is just SATC a few years after "Carrie and husband got married and they had some kids." There is even a 'smart red' present again, people are talking to the camera and Parker is again at the laptop for a considerable part of the film (like everyone else, but oh well).

I thought it was funny, Parker still running everywhere in her heels, even through the snow. She still hasn't lost her spark.

Yet she does not do it alone. I have heard several successful comments from the other actors and actresses. Her son was too cute for words.

3* for this fun binocular.

Sometimes you have those movies where you are forced to watch. This was one of those for me. Where I thought beforehand that this wouldn't be for me at all, I was completely right.

The actors aren't very good either. Parker is often nothing, here she is also quite mediocre. Brosnan isn't too bad for me here, but Kinnear is really annoying. Other than that, it's a typical rom-bowl, although the comic elements only surface sparingly. I often just didn't like it at all.

Visually, there are still a few nice camera tricks in it and the ending was a bit too bad for me. But then it became clear once more that this was not for me. Predictable, not funny and just not good.

1,5*
