Nice film in which a young doctor invents a remedy against the 'female disease' hysteria. A light-hearted, romantic costume film set in London 1880. Since the film is really about the invention of the vibrator, a less brave approach was probably in order. Nevertheless, quite entertaining and the setting of the film looks good.

Dramatic film that makes it almost impossible not to do something else while watching. The only thing that makes it a bit worth looking at is the reactions of the women during their 'treatment'. But that also quickly bores so that this film is a true torture.
The cast isn't even that bad, but they can't do much with such a sleep-inducing script. Every once in a while I managed to get a small smile, but I've been bored and annoyed for the most part.
Definitely not recommended, very unsatisfactory.
