Es War Mord und ein Dorf Schweigt plot

Kindergarten teacher Johanna Krüger (Bettina Zimmermann) moves to a small, meaningless village. Village policeman Thomas Borchert (Johannes Brandrup) finds it strange that Johanna wants to live in the village. What he doesn't know, however, is that Johanna has something to hide. Near this village, her father was once shot by soldiers of the Nationale Volksarmee, the former army of the GDR, when he wanted to flee.
