Milo plot
Milo (10) suffers from a rare genetic defect, but is not aware of it. He is kept under strict control by his neurotic parents, who hide his embarrassing abnormality at all costs from himself and the outside world. A botched kidnapping, a special friendship and a violent confrontation force Milo and his parents to embrace the imperfections in their lives.
