The Lovers plot
"Love is longer than life."
Great Barrier Reef, 2020. After attempting to rescue his wife from the wreckage of a colonial British merchant ship, tough and handsome archaeologist Jay Fennel lies brain dead in a Boston hospital. Fennel's dreamlike coma takes him back in time to 1778 in Puna, India. The British East Indies Company conquers the palaces in the country. Meanwhile, young Captain James Stewart, who bears a striking resemblance to Fennel, is about to embark on a dangerous mission. On his mission, he encounters murder, deceit, betrayal and revenge and falls for the female Indian warrior Tulaja, which seems an impossible love. The only thing that can transcend time and save a life is the power of a ring.
