It's a dark night. Famous Egyptologist Abel Trelawny is found in a coma. Trelawny's right arm has seven strange injuries and has been brutally dismembered. Next to him is his most prized possession: the ancient mummy of Queen Tera. His beautiful daughter Margaret enlists the help of Robert Wyatt, who finds himself embroiled in the mysteries of the Trelawny mansion, which is crammed from top to bottom with Egyptian antiquities. Among these artifacts, the couple finds a letter from Margaret's father warning that he should never be left alone if he is ever found in a mysterious coma. When innocent people start to lose their lives in horrific ways, Margaret and Robert get help from the mysterious John Corbeck, an eccentric scholar who knows Trelawny from long ago. This Corbeck turns out to have a lot of answers and, more importantly, the right questions. What is the mummy's secret? Only an ancient ritual can bring a solution.
