This was a special story. I thought it was an intriguing story and I was fascinated to watch what happened, but it was certainly not a standard story.

The cast did a great job and was convincing. Other than that, the movie looked good.

I don't know if the film has a big re-watch value.

Sleeping Beauty is about a young woman who is content with any job to pay her rent and studies. Not that she's desperate, but she does live from day to day and is certainly not picky about those jobs. Her life is beautifully portrayed. You notice that she has little future prospects. And then a very special job emerges that can bring her some money. A very intriguing job and as a viewer you are very curious. When introduced with her employer, I had the feeling that this could be a better version of Eyes wide shut, but without the overly soft masked orgy. Especially when the new job came where she only had to sleep naked. You're curious what's next.

A captivating film that draws you in. But in the end I was still hungry. Was that it? Especially given the high expectations, this was somewhat disappointing. Too bad, because it's a beautiful movie. Quiet, atmospheric and serene. And yes, Emily Browning is not an ugly actress. But this isn't a bad movie by any means. Unfortunately of the end. With those activities during her sleep could have been more mystery.

Sleeping Beauty is a film in which a lot of people sleep. Slept so much that as a viewer it makes you sleepy. Not only sleep from the sleep scenes, but also simply because the film turns out to be terribly meaningless. The film has no message and is essentially as empty as a nest from which the chicks have just fledged. Pulp!
