"Hayley Mills is at it again !"

Sharon de Vries (Hayley Mills) is unhappily divorced and lives as a single mother in Tampa, Florida. She is about to move to New York. Her daughter Nikki (Carrie Kei Heim) befriends Mary Grand (Bridgette Andersen). Mary's father Bill Grand (Tom Skerritt) has been a widower for 4 years. To stop the move to New York, Nikki and Mary try to make their parents fall in love.
