Six-Pack plot

After a murder is committed, Commissioner Nathan and his assistant Saule investigate the scene of the crime. They discover that the style of the murder matches that of a serial killer they've been searching for for months. All victims have something in common; they have all completed an extensive questionnaire at the American Embassy in France and are also registered here. Nathan and Saule conclude that the perpetrator must be working at the embassy. However, this institution is very inaccessible and not only does Nathan not receive help from his superiors, the Minister of the Interior forbids him to continue with his investigation. Nathan takes the law into his own hands and with the help of a young agent, whom he uses as bait, he tries to lure the killer into a trap.

Wonderful French thriller, even though you already know the perpetrator, there are enough plot twists that make this film attractive.

Anconina delivers good acting in this somewhat too thinly developed story. Opening and build-up of the first quarter is good, more realistic than many American counterparts. Then the so-called journey to the USA begins and the film sags, at the end with Mastroiani the whole improves. The plot at the end can make you think to what extent economic interests play a role in world politics. Overall quite good, elaboration could have been better.

This wasn't too good, Netflix has thrown a load of old French movies at it, this one is definitely not a high flyer. The two police officers reminded me more of Peppi and Kokki.

Who goes to a dark, remote room when there is danger?

The mistakes of the cheerful duo were truly ridiculous.....
