Die Stunden vor dem Morgengrauen plot

To earn some extra money, a family rents out a room to teacher Vera (Gudrun Landgrebe), who soon starts behaving rather strangely. At least, that's what the lady of the house, Luise (Susanne Lothar), thinks, but her husband Martin (Gunter Berger) can't find anything negative about the beautiful woman. However, Vera's interest in Martin and Luise's baby is seen as obsessive only by Luise. When the baby seems to have disappeared a few times, but also reappears, everyone initially thinks that Luise sees ghosts.
