Nice, well thought-out comedy that pokes fun at the battle between Christians and Muslims. Every now and then the story takes a short-lived, dramatic turn.

Not as much fun as Labaki's debut film Sukkar banat (2007), but still enjoyable and occasionally hilarious. Reminded me a bit of La Source des femmes (2011) by Radu Mihaileanu, but it's even more fun.

"How can we avoid the conflicts that force us to bury our men". This seems to be the theme of this movie that starts with a beautiful opening scene, very significant for the movie.

Certainly well-intentioned, with humor in addition to drama, but overall, certainly in the middle part a bit too much rippling, but the recurring contrast between the attitude of women and men in the Middle East.

Is it true that the actors are not professionals, then definitely kudos to these people.

A very atmospheric film, in which it is not immediately clear which way it is going. Beautiful images, which sometimes create an uneasy feeling because of the comparison with the material (!) wealth here. Ultimately, peace must come from the side of the women again. With the cooperation of local imam and pastor. The title becomes apparent very late in the film. Unfortunately, the theme remains topical.
