One dances with twelve thousand bees on her body, the other tickles his bees with his mustache. The beekeepers in this film are as fascinating as the alarming subject of this documentary: the massive bee deaths occurring worldwide. This phenomenon is viewed through the eyes of Rudolf Steiner, the inventor of biodynamic agriculture. He predicted in 1923 that large-scale beekeeping and food production would lead to the extinction of the bee within eighty to one hundred years.
