Riding Giants plot

Riding Giants goes back to the roots of modern Big Wave surfing. The film focuses on three periods and in each period one surf icon is central. Surfing legend Greg Noll talks about the beginnings of modern Big Wave surfing on the North Shore of Oahu and the superstition and fear associated with Big Wave surfing on Waimea Bay. Jeff Clark reveals the secrets of Maverick's surf spot, a spot that has already had several fatalities to its name. Finally, Laird Hamilton shows how tow-in surfing has allowed waves to be ridden, higher and juicier than ever thought possible.
