Manny, Diego and Sid embark on a grand adventure after a catastrophe sends an entire continent adrift. Separated from the rest of the group, they use an iceberg as a makeshift ship that will take them on an epic sea voyage. The stretch was long gone and if you continue anyway, you'll get a movie like this. I suspect that if I ever review Ice Age films again, some scores will drop considerably. The same formula over and over again. This has to be one of the most uninspired series. A group of meaningless or irritating figures who have to get from A to B through a natural disaster. It is nothing more. Then they try to hitch a ride on hypes (eg Pirates o/t Caribbean) and add a difficult teenage-parent relationship (always works for uncritical viewers) and you have a nice summary. The animations have improved a bit, but still no reason to appreciate this style. Even Scrat has been so milked that it has just become painful. There's no passion behind this, just businessmen with dollar signs in their eyes. The earlier films were not very good, but this one looks a lot like a cesspool.
