The Exiles plot
The three young Indians Yvonne, Homer and Hector decide to leave their reservation in search of happiness. Upon their arrival in Los Angeles, however, the trio soon find themselves as lost and isolated as they did in the vast desert from which they came. Yvonne and Homer have a child together, but they live apart. Hector also gets a taste of city life, but it doesn't bring any of them the happiness they were looking for.
