Tyler Watts (Blayne Weaver) is the eternal bachelor and he likes it just fine. When his best friend Alan (Martin Starr) is dumped by his fiancée, he takes him under his wing and teaches him the rules of avoiding emotional bonding. Tyler has always followed these rules and thus avoided falling for anyone until he meets Sophie (Natalie Morales). This new girl in Tyler's life makes him question all the rules he set for himself and try to win over Sophie at the expense of her current boyfriend.
