Lousy South Korean Alien clone, with an oil rig instead of a spaceship as the setting. Initially, it doesn't look all that bad visually and it could still be something. The humor is immediately on the weak side and the characters are very flat from the start. As soon as the monster shows up, things quickly go downhill. Here and there the special effects can pass, but for the most part it all looks pretty ugly. Sporadically you even get the idea that you are watching an animated film. From that point on there is no saving it and the film gets worse and worse.

Literally and figuratively crap. Don't waste too many words on it.

Director Ji-hoon Kim is effective when it comes to the choice of location, because the rusty and dark environment is regularly used well. Sector 7 looks solid when it comes to the creation of the world, which the makers make good use of with a single location. Unfortunately, this is offset by the extremely substandard acting and the particularly forced humor that absolutely does not belong in this film. It gets in the way of any form of tension, an element that was not helped by the mediocre design of the threat anyway. The monster is brought to life with computer technology, among other things, but this is so artificial and wooden that any form of danger is immediately lost. A number of bombastic action scenes liven things up, otherwise this is a typical forget-it-again film.
