"God damn."
Nine years after the events of Ghost Shark, Jack Broody is mayor of Auckland, New Zealand, while former Lieutenant Tony Palentini has sunk deep into the ground. The election campaign is in full swing and Broody is in poor shape in the polls as newcomer Marco Guerra wins the hearts and votes of the people. But then more and more people die in the city and it soon becomes clear that Ghost Shark is back. Desperate not to make another mistake, Broody enlists the help of professional shark hunter Tom Logan to get rid of the beast once and for all. With the elections approaching and Ghost Shark making more and more victims, the question is whether Broody and Logan can save both the city and the mayoralty.
