Hotel der Toten Gäste plot

London crime reporter Barney Blair has an appointment in his office with Janosch Kovac, the hotel detective at the Atlanta Hotel in San Remo. This informant wants to sell Blair controversial background material, but it does not come to that, because the man is stabbed just before. To familiarize himself with the business, Blair makes his way to the hotel where a film and music festival is taking place and soon smells a great story. Shortly afterwards, however, the much-loved music producer Ruth Cornell is murdered. Each of the guests has a motive, but no one has a solid alibi. Along with his fellow reporter Gilli and a crime inspector, Blair digs into the case and anyone can be the culprit, be it a music cop or a waiter.
