Ägget är Löst! - En Hårdkokt Saga plot
Swedish director Hans Alfredson based the film on his own novella. Max von Sydow plays the father of a family. He works in a factory where they transform eggs into scribblers, which can be used to scratch places on the human body that the hands cannot reach. He has a firm grip on both his factory and his family. And when the son starts to rebel against him, it makes sense that he takes this seriously. It's so bad that both of them try to kill each other.

Bizarre.
Very strange comedy. Made in Sweden, so you know it can get dry sometimes. It is - although it is just as often bland. The bizarre twists follow one another, with the philosophical musings in the lake as the highlight. I didn't understand much of it - I don't know whether this film is meant to be serious or ridiculous. Strange viewing experience.
