The Mysterious Desperado plot
"AMBUSH BY DAY...MURDER BY NIGHT...In Old California!"
Tim Holt and his faithful Mexican friend Chito Jose Gonzalez Bustamante Rafferty arrive in Santo Domingo, California. The duo have come to claim the legacy of Chito's late uncle Don Bustamante, but they soon run into trouble. The administrator Elias P. Stevens, his assistant Whittaker and Bart Barton illegally sell plots of land from Bustamante. Stevens killed Don Bustamante and blamed it on his son Ramon. Ramon is on the run from the law. The next day, Tim and Chito are ambushed, in which Chito is injured in the arm. However, with the help of Ramon and his girlfriend Luisa, Tim and Chito are able to escape. Together, they hunt Stevens and his henchmen to clear Ramon's name.
