Backyard plot

"He invited all his neighbours... And now he's inviting you! To his..."

Árni Rúnar Hlöðversson, member of the Icelandic band FM Belfast, plans to start a small-scale concert in his backyard in Reykjavík. Authorities are informed and the neighbors receive an invitation in the letterbox. Not everything goes smoothly, but with the help of a good dose of humor and talent for improvisation, this concert eventually culminates in one of the most intimate and thrilling musical events ever. In this documentary you get to see how this all gets started and how he approaches his friends (who also play in other bands) to get involved. Bands that pass by are Múm, Hjaltalín, Borko, Reykjavík!, Sin Fang Bous, Retro Stefson and of course FM Belfast.
