Charlotte Link: Die Täuschung plot

Laura (Katja Weitzenböck) says goodbye to husband Peter (Bernhard Schir), who is going sailing for a week in the south of France. Her surprise at a blocked credit card turns to dismay when the next day the police show up to arrest her husband, who is said to have embezzled a large sum of money. Peter appears to have disappeared without a trace. His car is found abandoned, in the trunk is a suitcase with money and two tickets to South America.
