On the Great White Trail plot
Mountie Sergeant Renfrew is attracted to Kay Larkin. He agrees to accompany her in her search for her father Andrew Larkin. Kay's father goes missing at a remote northern outpost. When both arrive at the outpost, Renfrew learns that his colleague and another man are dead, money is missing and Kay's father is the prime suspect. Renfrew manages to track down and arrest Andrew Larkin, but he insists he is innocent and doesn't know where the stolen money is.
