Julia plot
"The story of two women whose friendship suddenly became a matter of life and death."
In the 1930s, playwright Lilian Hellman tries to build a career with the help of her lover, Dashiell Hammett. Her good friend Julia fights against the Nazi regime. Lilian visits her friend and sees what her ideals have done to her. Julia's friend asks Lilian to smuggle a large sum of money to help fight the Nazis.
