La Fille du Puisatier plot
1939. Patricia, the eldest daughter of well-digger Pascal Amoretti, falls in love with pilot Jacques Mazel. When the war breaks out, Jacques leaves for the front without knowing that Patricia is expecting a child from him. However, the pilot's parents refuse to acknowledge the child. Her own father doesn't want to know anything about her anymore and rejects her. To make matters worse, she learns that the pilot has been killed. Will the truce change her situation?
