Passi di Danza su una Lama di Rasoio plot

While waiting for her boyfriend in the park, photographer Kitty witnesses a murder through her telescope. She just can't identify the culprit. At first, the police are skeptical until they find the corpse of a hooker exactly as Kitty described it. All they know is that the killer is carrying a stick because he has a limp. They are going to keep an eye on Kitty's friend because he broke his ankle that very day.

I've seen a few films by Nieves Navarro and I must say I find her a stylish and engaging actress. The film itself is rather chaotically structured, with far-fetched plot twists. But the film also has its plus points, such as Navarro, a fair number of nude scenes, plenty of kills, atmospheric settings, and especially a great soundtrack. 6/10

A giallo with all the elements you'd expect from a giallo: whodunit, attractive women, suspense, a distinctive soundtrack. You also get a glimpse of Rome in the 1970s. It has a good story, and where the film really shines is in the buildup of suspense as the killer gets to work. Suspense building does require some skill from the film crew, and it's not always present in other giallos.
