Opinions can then differ greatly. I do admit that Barker is listlessly present. Tarzan is unfortunately not really the tough himself. But still the film is entertaining and I find the film different from the others with Barker. It's a pity that Barker didn't quite see it in this role.
The story is of course a bit so-so. But enjoyable with the excitement.
"The She-Devil" (which is actually not too bad) is well played by Monique van Vooren, well known to me from "Flesh for Frankenstein". Too bad the poster is a bit misplaced. Joyce MacKenzie is also a nice Jane. Not great, but certainly not bad in my eyes.
Funny is the scene in which Jane is unconscious and an Elephant hoists her up with his trunk. The strings are clearly tied to her clothing/harness to hoist her up like that. I personally think it's a good movie. But in terms of genre, it could also have been drama.
3.5 will be my grade. Despite the fact that Barker didn't feel like it anymore, it still resulted in a few nice films.
