Renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Maurice Lamar has done such a spectacular job with his humble client Eve Caron, causing her jealous husband Marcel to divorce her. Eve is then hastily married to Maurice, but her superficial vanity drives him crazy. He prefers the company of his faithful secretary Anne, but she is now married to the vengeful Marcel Caron.
